Brown-Forman Corporation successfully opened the Old Forester Distillery and bourbon experience in two historic buildings on West Main Street in Louisville, Kentucky.

The project included the implementation of fermentation, distilling, barrel making, filling and dumping, and bottling facilities, enabling the company to double its production of Old Forester. EHI Consultants played a crucial role in the project’s completion, conducting a comprehensive survey to assess boundaries and topography along Main and Washington Street, including behind the buildings. Civil site work drawings were created to guide improvements to the sidewalks, including structures over the vaults. EHI also provided oversight and recommendations for necessary zone change submissions to the Planning & Design department. Additionally, utility connections beyond the face of the buildings were established, ensuring seamless operations for the distillery.
