EHI Consultants was hired by the City of Pikeville to successfully complete their Unified Development Ordinance.

This comprehensive project aimed to combine the city’s Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Regulations into a single, cohesive document. The goal was to ensure consistency, improve usability, and streamline the overall length of the ordinance. EHI worked diligently to merge the relevant articles and components, taking into account the shared and exclusive aspects of both the Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Regulations. The completed Unified Development Ordinance serves to promote public health, safety, morals, and general welfare while conserving and protecting property and property values. It facilitates appropriate land use and provides provisions for public improvements in line with a comprehensive plan for the city’s future development.
